Student Information Data Requests & Report Access
Request Access
Argos access is handled through the Banner Access Request Form and must be submitted by a supervisor. Please see the FAQ page for more information.
Request a Report
Use this form to submit the following requests:
- Report an Issue: Select Outage/Issue.
- Request a Change: Select Enhancement to Current Report.
- Request a New Report: Select New Report Request.
- For Assistance: Select Help.
Important: Report requests are subject to approval by the relevant data steward. If you are requesting access to data attributes that were not previously available to you (such as race or gender), you must also complete a Banner Data Usage Request form.
Request Banner Data
University employees requesting access to Banner data must complete a Data Usage Request (DUR) form. Submissions are reviewed by the University Registrar’s Office and routed for additional approval as necessary.
Those requesting will be asked to:
- Provide a statement of legitimate educational interest for the requested data.
- Provide relevant documentation, such as a Security Design Review and Cloud Addendum.
- Confirm their understanding of and commitment to University policies regarding data use.
Request Aggregate Student Data
Requesting Aggregate Student Data
To request aggregate demographic data about a specific student population (such as gender, race/ethnicity, division of study, school at Yale or year of study), submit a Banner Data Usage Request Form.
If approved, SIS Reporting will provide the requested information based on the specified population.
